Sponsorship?

In order to help cover the costs of providing this agility website such as the domain name fee, hosting fees, phone calls, etc., I am wondering if there is any interest by individuals, businesses, organisations, etc, in sponsoring the website to develop a win-win situation for both the sponsors to gain business and myself to help with the costs.

I would assume that any sponsorship would be dog and/or agility related but maybe there are other products or services that would be just as suitable.

My thoughts are that space on the home page and other popular pages such as events, results, catalogues and current schedules, could be made available at nominal rates (related to the size of the display block) and either linking to an external website (like the 4Legs block on the right) or a dedicated page on this agility site (like Welcome Kennels) which would provide more information. Or just a stand-alone display block with name and contact details could be suitable for some (eg. Jim's Dog Wash). To avoid over-exposure the display blocks would be alternated over different pages and different layouts at regular intervals.

The traffic to the site has increased since it was established in November 2009 and in May 2010 there were many visitors to the site, ensuring a suitable viewing population.
