BARELY SANE ADX JDX
Webb's Gorgeous Boy 'Bear'
It is with great sadness that
I write to my agility friends to let you know that my gorgeous boy Bear was put
to sleep this morning after his battle with epilepsy became too great.
I want to thank all of my fellow-agiliteers for making it possible for Bear and
I to compete in something that he (and I) truly truly loved to do - even in the
beginning when he was true to his Barely Sane name, we still had lots of fun.
Our passes were few and far between, and the first one seemed to take forever.
We struggled through Novice and Excellent, although after some lessons out with
Geraldine we finally got our last excellent passes and joined the awesome dogs
in Masters (thanks Geraldine!). Our most memorable agility moment was at the
Royal last year with Bear achieving Fastest Jumping Dog - a memory I will
Taken from me far too soon at just 6 and a half years of age, he lived a short
life but a good one. I will miss him terribly, as I know you will all understand
being dog lovers yourselves.
Thanks again for helping to make Bear's life full of fun - agility was
definitely his favourite thing to do (well, that and harass his sister Kayla).
